Wow...

SInce the last time when i blogged till now is almost 2 mths...

Look like is time for me to update my blog, if not someone will say that my blog is covered by spider webs...

But, that someone blog also haven't been updating for quite sometimes,dust and spiderweb are more thicker than mine...

 

Anyway, for this 2 mths or so,everyday almost the same...

Work , work, work...

Sitting in front of my computer for 8hrs a day - 5 working days...

Looking forwards to the weekends...

 

Just went to celebrate my friends' 2nd anniversary cum marry proposal on Friday...

Actually planned to take leave on that day but can't-the reason given is i'm under probation so can't take leave...

So, no choice have to work and meet them after work...

The good thing is my bf come and fetch me after work..hehe...

Proceed to "collect" the bears and then to Mount Faber as we will be having dinner at Jewel Box's Sapphire...

Since suppose to meet at 1945H, my bf n i have plenty of time to spend...

So, we went to take the cable car and have a round trip...

It has been quite sometime since my last ride on the cable car...

Finally, settle down for dinner...

Even though the price is a bit steep,but we enjoy the food very much...

After dinner,(*cunning smile) the good show is about to begin soon-Proposing...

I was told to "distract" my friend(gal) and the guy will quietly took out the ring...

And guess what, this is a very hilarious proposal...

GUY :" Baby, do you love me?"

GAL :"F**K you la" (we understand why the gal react in such a way)

GUY took out the ring and proposed.

When GAL saw the ring, she :" Is this (ring) real?"

We were laughing madly...

Almost roll on the ground...

But still, the proposed is successful...

Have a blissful marriage...

 

After all the enjoyment...

I'm so sad that my weekend is burnt...

I have to attend a 2-days course which organise by the company...

It is a very fruitful course, so is worth the "burning" of my weekend...

Really learnt alot and get to know colleagues from other departments...

 

Now looking forwards to my 4-days of orientation...

Which mean i'm OFF from work for 4 consecuitve days...YEAH!!!

 

 

Hmmm...

Today my manager just spoken to me regarding my confirmation...

The amount they offer is higher than all my previous job...

But...

I have to go for medical checkup before they actually confirm me...

If i fail the medical checkup,i only can work as temp...

I actually very glad that my manager offer me quite a high amount...

My manager actually based on my experience and qualification...

Not too bad offer...

Benefits not bad too...

Hehe...

All the best for my job...

 

Heard that Superband will be coming end of May to promote their concert in Singapore...

Looking forward to that...

Now then release that someone actually post a note to me asking me to update my blog...

If not my blog will be collecting a thick layer of dust...

Actually nothing much to update...

Haven't been going oversea since my last trip to Genting last dec...

Now planning for an oversea trip...

Maybe in October,but now i am trying very hard to save money for my trip...

Might be going Macau, HongKong or Taiwan...

Waiting for that someone and his buddy to decide...

 

Just got my birthday treat last week at Kushin-bo @ Great World...

This is my 4th time there...

But this time round, i find that their buffet has nothing much food to eat...

Or maybe i'd got sick of the japanese buffet there...

I enjoy quite alot,especially with the 2 kids around...

(Or should i say 3 kids altogether??? Heheh)

 

 

About my work...

So far still so good...

Going to be 3 months into my job...

Quite a relaxing job...

Everyday start work on the dot and knock off on the dot as well...

Compared to my previous job,this job just require me to sit in front of my com the whole day...

No longer that tiring by running here and there...

 

Hehe...

Now someone is on duty,but i am relaxing in front of my lappy...

But that person will be having long weekend since he's on duty tonight,tomorrow he will off till sunday...

(PS: good life hor...somemore good pay too...right???)

 

Anyway, now waiting for July to come...

Can't wait to go for concert again...

再過明天,長達15天的農曆新年就結束了...

在過農曆年的當兒,我看了一場又棒又讚的演唱會...

那就是ONE 華健新加坡演唱會...

 

不知不覺,演唱會快要到未聲了...

華健唱了<璀璨>來終結這場演唱會...

雖然是說不會掉淚,可是唱完後,還是掉下男兒淚...

 

終結的說,這場演唱會是超精彩...

期待下個華健世界巡迴演唱會...

 

But time passed very fast, i will be starting my work on tuesday...

Look like my blog has collected a thick layer of dust.  Have not updated my blog for ages.

Now is time to update how have i been for the past few months.

 

Since July, after my company had shifted from Tanjong Pagar to Kaki Bukit, i had lack of sleep.

Have been spending 3 hrs per day just on travelling to and from work alone.  Getting more and more tired of working.

Lately, been extremely busy with work and have to work overtime.

 

Anyway, apart from work, have enjoy myself last weekends.  Hehe.

Finally someone is in town and he is WAKIN CHAU.

Have not seen him for quite awhile.  And this time, he is in town for the YELLOW RIBBON CAMPAIGN.

Even though he has not step into this island for a "long long long" time, can see that he is still as popular as before.

People still remember him as the SUPERSTAR.  Even kids as young as primary or secondary age, they are able to sing his song.

Really, regardless of age, he is stillbeing well-known.

 

Haiz.  After enjoying my weekends, still have to get back to work.

Do not know how long can i survive or sustain at my workplace with so long journey to work.

Haven't been updating my blog for a long long time.

So it has been collecting DUSTs since last september till now.

 

Last week, heard from news reporting that Szechuan was affecting by earthquake and Myanmar was affecting by flood.

The earthquake was so strong that it has cause innocent lives of thousands of people.

The flood has also caused a number of lives.

Buildings have collapsed, mainly children (students) were trapped.

People from round the world have be giving support, assistance, donations, etc.

Pray hard for them. 

 

This year, haven't been going for holidays.

So far only been to Padang, but is a consider business trip,

But apart from business, of course did have some time to enjoy.

Unlike last year, keep going for holidays - Genting, Bali, Taiwan, Hongkong.

Wanted to go for holiday at the end of the year, but not sure whether be able to save enough money.

Have to work hard to save money.

 

As for my work, have been working in the coy for 8 mths since i transferred over from the restaurant last sept.

Starting out as an Admin Assistant.

Doing all sort of paper documents, especially applications dealing with MOM.

Have been stressing out due to all day nagging from my superior(her).

Piling of workload from her.

After 6-7mths of "torturing", have decided to write a letter to the coy.

This the time when my Management (Boss & Lady Boss) decided to do something.

Since then, i have been transferred to my Sales dept.

So have so called "promoted" to Marketing Executive.

Ever since i have transferred to Sales, my friends have been teasing me.

Keep calling "me" 人蛇集團.

As my coy is dealing with foreign students who will be coming to SG for internships.

So anyone out there have contacts for Retail and Hotel & Restaurant Management establishments.

 

愿世界和平,不要再有任何災難...

Just started working in a new environment...

Not too bad...

So far so good...

 

Anyway, just went to watch　童安格＆周治平＜＜童周共聚＞＞concert...

All their songs really remind me of my childhood...

All songs are so nice and touching...

They are really 勢力派歌手...

周治平唱的都是他自己的創作...

青梅竹馬, 那場風花雪月的事(my favourite), 為愛所困, 箏, 花開花謝, 夢不到你, 我和我追逐的梦, 寂寞的眼, etc...

童安格也唱了自己的創作...

其實你不懂我的心, 耶利亞女郎, 沙漠之足, 明天你是否依然愛我, 花瓣雨, 把根留住, 爱与哀愁, etc...

和他們一起合唱 - 記得那首歌...

Really enjoy their concert...

But there's some part whereby they sang out of tune...

For 周治平 maybe he due to he had vocal operation, so his vocal actually change...

As for 童安格, i just don't know and understand why...

Hehe...

 

Overall the concert was good...

Just that i felt the concert was too short as it end at 11pm...

 

Wondering when will be my next concert visit...

 

Look like haven't been updating my blog for quite sometimes...

Even my last holiday trip to HongKong and Taiwan haven't get a chance to update...

I think shouldn't be a problem soon...

As i will be changing my working environment pretty soon...

Hehe...

Few more days to go...

Yeah...

Will be having more free time...

Saturday adn Sunday will be my off days...

More regular working hours...

BUT...

Boss will be the same...

The restaurant will be down of staff for the moment...

My dear friend will have to work FULL SHIFT everyday without any off day...

Poor him...

Anyway boss said that my dear friend had slacked too much...

So is a "GOOD" time to prevent him from slacking...

 

So, u guys can "book" me on saturday and sunday...

Will be free for the whole day liao...

Just got back to work yesterday from my leave...

Guess what...

Everything is chaos...

And i have to clear all the sh**...

Away for just 9 days...

Everything is just in a mess...

Urgent documents or invoices which needed to be submitted to boss, are not done...

I'm wondering what's my dear friend doing in the restaurant...

He didn't even hand things or pass message to me...

Ask him how come not done, just replied me that he had too much things to do and remember...

Is such a lame excuses...

As if i am more free than him...

At least today much better...

 

Gonna update my blog on my HK & TW trips pretty soon...

Another staff in my company just got terminated on friday...

Ever since my current boss took over the restaurant for just 8 months...

Already have 5 staffs got terminated, including the latest one...

My boss gave all sort of "stupid" reasons to terminate him...

To me all reasons are invalid...

Have a chat with my boss...

Chat till i feel like vomiting blood and wasting my breath...

We were chatting about my buddy...

My boss say to me that he gave my buddy whatever he wants...

But my buddy can't give whatever my boss wants...

Haiz...

 

Sobz...

The staff who got terminated is actually my very good buddy...

I have been working with him for more than a year...

When he started out as a part timer to a full timer...

Have a lot of fun working with him...

And learn quite a number of things from him...

He is like a big brother to me...

So coincident that his birthday and my birthday fall on the same day but born 7 years apart...

 

After he left...

Our working environment no longer the same...

No more fun and laughter like what we had before...

Even during busy time, we can even have fun...

Really missed all the good old days...

Now the environment is so boring and dull...

 

Now started to ponder...

Is it time for me to leave the place and start afresh???

 

 

I have a question...

Senorio : If you are the boss and you just started a company, so which mean is pretty new and hard to know whether you will be able to make profit and forsee the future. You are interviewing 1 particular staff, that person ask for a pay whereby you don't think you be able to afford as is too high and expensive to hire that person.

 

Option 1 : You will hire that person with the pay he ask for. And after sometime, your company is not doing well and you find all sort of excuses to terminate that person

 

 

Option 2 : You will offer that person the pay you can offer but not the pay the person ask for. ( something like take it or leave it thingy ) And when your company is doing well and making profit, then you increase that person pay or maybe increase till what the person have ask for.

 

So which one will you choose?

My boss actually talk to me about this and he choose option 1...

That person which i mention is actually my buddy...

To me my boss is like those "don't have so big head and yet wear so big hat"...

No further comments or my boss...

Back from my holiday from Bali...

Is my first trip there...

 

I am actually teh first group to reach Bali...

Was supposed to reach there on 7 June 2007...

But in the end passport was chopped 8 June 2007...

Cos the flight was expected to take off at 1855H...

But at first was delayed for 30mins...

In the end was delay for 3hrs due to technical fault...

So reached there past midnight...

By the time reach Kuta-Paradiso Hotel Bali was already 2am...

Argh...

Was "stuck" in the airport for almost 6hrs...

My friends were saying that we cant have high expectation for Garuda Indonesia...

Cos they are "famous" for flight delay...

 

Woke up around 0700H...

Only slept for about 4hrs...

Went for breakfast at the hotel...

But was disappointed...

The breakfast do not look appetising at all...

Just a very simple breakfast buffet...

Egg, tomato, cereals, sausages( not nice at all ), noodles, rice...

But anyway just ate abit and set off for the activities for the day...

Depart from hotel at  0830H...

First stop was watching their traditional dance - Barong Dance (not too sure about the spelling:P)

Too me is quite boring as i don't really understand what is the dance about and what are they talking about...

Second destination was the silver factory...

All silver accessories are handmade...

Third destination was Kintanmali...

Need a few hours to reach there...

Nearby there's actually a volcano which is still active...

The weather there is actually like Genting cos the temperature is about 20 degree celsius...

Went there for luch as well...

Lunch was buffet...

But not much variety...

Set off for the next destination...

The next two destination were temple visiting...

Went to visit those famous temple which is tourist attraction...

I remember one of the temple was used to be underground...

Due to certain things...

The temple is exposed out...

Basically i had forgotten all the names of the temple as names were difficult to remember...

Went for dinner around 1700H...

The tour said the dinner wwould be seafood feast...

But again disappointed...

The food was so-so only...

Went back to hotel after dinner...

Finally set off for shopping...

Hehe...

Went to Hard-Rock Bali...

And some shop along te road...

Quite a number of shop like Billabong, Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Surfer Girl, Polo Ralph etc...

Mainly selling beach wear...

Went back to hotel to bath and went to one of my friend's room for "party"...

The second group ariived at the hotel...

The good thing is there isn't any flight delay...

 

Woke up 0630H...

Went for breakfast at Macdonald cos cannot stand the food at the hotel...

Set off for activities for the day...

Went to a beach which i forgotten the name..:P

And that's the start of my job as a "nanny"...

For my 2 dear princess (one 4yrs old, one 7yrs old) and 1 prince (6yrs old)...

Took the glass boat to turtle island (that's what they called)...

Along the way, we fed some fishes in the sea...

Reached the turtle island about 30mins later...

Took photo with turtle, eagle and snake...Spend about 30mins there and went back to the beach...

After that went for lunch...

And guess what, the lunch was no different...

Food still the same, so-so only...

Went to visit temple again...

And watch sunset as well...

My 2 princess and 1 prince, including their parents(my boss and lady boss), went to put tattoo on the arm...

One have butterfly and the other two have dolphines...

My prince told me to put tattoo as well but i refused...

Haha...

Guess what he said to me...

He said "only people who have tattoo can join our club and board the coach, if not have to stay in Bali..."

I was like -_-" and keep laughing all the way...

Seafood feast for dinner again...

But at least the food taste better...

Just that most of the food is spicy...

Went to hotel and continue my shopping trip at hrad rock again...

Packed my bag and prepare for my departure the nex day...

 

Went for breakfast at the hotel...

And went for Spa Massage...

Wooo...

Shiok manz...

Really enjoying my life...:p

Back to Singapore...

I will be going for holiday pretty soon...

Last 2 weeks, just went to Genting with my friend from 23 may - 25 may...

And this week will be going to Bali from 7 june - 10 june...

Plus the last holiday i had planned will be going to Hong Kong and Taipei,TW from 30 june - 7 july...

Hehe...

Look like every alternate week will be going on holiday...

But my pocket will have one big hole...

Anyway, is time for me to relax and take break from work...

Let my dear "superman" run the whole show...

Wanted to see how long can he last...

So, counting down to my hoildays...

Have been wondering why the higher post you are,

The more stubborn you are...

Is it to those who are high post,

To them is they "see" more thing than the junior ones...

And have more experience than junior ones..???

They eat more salt than junior staffs???

I actually came across a book whereby it stated there "the higher you climb, the less experience you are..."

To me quite true...

The higher you climb, the more humble you have to be...

So you can actually learn more things...

Why can't they accept feedbacks???

 

I came across such person...

Not one but a handful of them...

I can say different company have different expectations...

We can't expect to use our own kind of expectation to do things...

We have to adapt to new environments & new expectations...

Who can give me the answer???

Look like in life,

Things are so unpredictable...

Just like what had happened at my workplace on friday...

B was at the restaurant at abt 12noon...

It was an unusual sight...

Cos B normally don't drop by during that hour...

Look like B was there to conduct "spot-check"...

As usual, my "dearest" friend, R, was working morning...

And another "dearest" friend, X, was working morning as well...

X always late for work ( at least 15mins to 1hr late )...

So unlucky that B was there so "early"...

And he got so angry as the restaurant is in operation but is without a cook...

On that day itself, B terminate X on the spot...

 

Haiz...

Look like B is "enjoying" terminating staff...

Since the day B took over the place,

B had terminated 4 staffs, including X...

And all these happened within 8 months...

Hmmm...

All these termination occurs on friday...

Anyway, just don't think too much...

As long as we are doing our job...

There shouldn't be any problem...

 

*argh...haven't yet recover from my headache...the sight of my dear pal make my headache worst...

Have been wondering why am i under so much stress...

Have been having heachach and insomnia lately...

Have been taking things lightly...

Workload wise...

Everytime when i am back from off day or leave...

My paperwork actually piled up...

All left untouched...

I just like the working environment but not the people...

Especially...um hm...

Those who know will understand who am i talking about...

I just feel uncomfortable working with him...

Whenever i work with him, i don't feel like working...

He had been playing "tai-chi" with me...

Till now still the same...

Even got final warning from my boss...

And it's true that "leopard wouldn't change its spot"...

 

Due to stress, i've got 2 days MC...Hehe...

Have been spending these 2 days relaxing my mind...

It is a good time to "escape" from work...

And let him handle everythng...

I informed my lady boss about my MC as well...

She's actually surprised that i'm on MC...

She'd asked me what happen and how come...

Haha...

The best part is one of her sms stated :" if your medicine not working, i'll give u drugs...ha....ha"

I was like -_-"

This kind of boss also have...

But at least she 's helping me to de-stress...:D

 

Anyway, i'll be going to Bali from 7 June - 10 June...

Hehe...

Just go there to enjoy my holiday...

So counting down to my holiday...

 

 

 

Haven't been updating my blog for quite someimes...

The whole of last month, february, had been busy working, due to promotion in conjuction with my workplace 2nd yr Anniversary...

Just because of this promotion, i'd to work longer hours than before...

But that's fine, at least i can train up my stamina...

And thanks to the 5 SGBY for patronising my workplace...

Haha...thanks AL for being the doggie photography lor...

But too bad my boss was not there to "serve" you all..hehe...

 

Now is March, the promotion had ended...

As for the pricing of the food, we have adjusted it...

We had revised the prices up to 40% less than before...

But customers keep thinking that we still have discount...

We written down stating " Prices up to 40% less" not "40% off the prices/bill"...

Hope that my workplace business will start picking up...

 

Yesterday, had a small "meeting" with my lady boss together with my buddy...

Is regarding my manager...

Boss said that they were disappointed with his performance...

Though he can manage the restaurant well...

But too bad...

Especially last month when we were having the promotion & restaurant was having full house almost everyday...

Manager just won't admit his mistake and always come up with long of excuses...

When boss told him about his mistake, he's unhappy with it...

Why can't he take others' feedback...

Without feedbacks, you won't realise your mistakes, and you won't have improvements...

 

My boss still considering whether to let manager stay or leave...

The decision still in pending...

If he've to go, i will be taking over his position...

But with or without him, no different to me...

As i'm doing most of the things...

And guess what...

My boss said the planning to give my buddy & i profit sharing...

Hmmm...there's no free lunch in this world...

You have to work hard for it...

I guess my boss just wanna secure us...

Haha...

See what's the outcome then...

My buddy & i have to email boss on the "minutes" on the meeting we had & feedback on manager...
